JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Supply Chain Associate to perform duties in computerized order entry, distribution of all supplies, linen and equipment, shipping and receiving of ASC merchandise. Able to maintain good management inventory processes, meeting supply needs with prompt delivery, assuring accuracy of orders and receipts and assures the good working order and availability of supplies and equipment.

 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Distribute and restock supplies and/or linen to end users in accordance to policies and procedures.
  • Use supply chain technologies to order supplies and perform goods receipt. Report shipment discrepancies to onsite manager.
  • Perform cycle counts on a regular basis to ensure accuracy of stock levels and ensure supply chain work areas are organized and clean.
  • Check expiration dates on supplies monthly, document and discard expired products.
  • Run reports in SAP and use as a tool to provide trends and recommendations.
  • Prepare and ship out vendor returns.
  • Move, rotate and stock supplies to appropriate shelfing and storage locations when needed and communicate recommendations on operational efficiency improvements to supply chain management.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service when interacting with vendors and staff  to address supply/linen questions.
  • Troubleshoot supply shortage issues and articulate the known impact.
  • Able to work and complete all assigned tasks with minimal supervision from manager or HCA.

 

JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • HS Diploma/G.E.D. required.

  • Some college level coursework preferred, but not required.

  • At least 1 year of work experience, including experience in one of the following areas: distribution, warehousing, shipping, receiving, logistics, material handling, customer service, inventory control, or other comparable service line. Strongly prefer experience in a fast- paced, customer service environment.

  • Valid Driver's License.

 

JOB HOURS

The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
