Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital

The smallest of Duke Health’s four hospitals at 123-beds, it offers a comprehensive range of medical services, including 24-hour emergency care, cardiology, orthopedics, women's services, and surgical specialties.

Occ Summary

Provides leadership and direction for the Imaging staff while supportingthe hospital's clinical initiatives, policies and procedures. Works withthe modality staff as well as other department st aff in accomplishingthe highest quality of patient care and customer sat isfaction and inassuring that the modality runs effectively and efficien tly. Supportsand works closely with the Director of Imaging Services to ensure thatall areas of the Imaging Department work together to accompli sh thegoals and standards set forth by the hospital. Supports and active lypromotes the mission and vision of the hospital.

Education

For Clinical Supervi sors, registration by the governing body of thatparticular modality. Bac helor's degree or equivalent experiencepreferred.

Experience

Five years or more experience in the modality preferred. A worki ngknowledge of the modality equipment required. Must have supervisoryexp erience anddemonstrated leadership capabilities.

Degrees, Licens ures, Certifications

Registered by the American Registry of Radio logic Technologists (ARRT)or by the governing body of the particular mod ality. BLS certificationrequired.
