Skills and Proficiencies Needed to Perform the Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


•    Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
•    Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects.
•    Able to produce reports and complete work within deadlines.
•    Proficient navigating and maintaining databases.
•    Must be able to perform basic data analysis.
•    Communicate and interact effectively, respectfully and appropriately with diverse populations in the Department, the University, and the community.
•    Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with colleagues, student-athletes, coaches and administrators.
•    Handle multiple tasks in a high-stress environment.
•    Ability and willingness to work some nights and weekends.

 

 

Department Preferences

 

Master’s degree in intercollegiate visual merchandising, athletics administration, counseling, education or other related field AND 48 months of experience in office management, financial management, licensing or accounting.
 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

Education

 

Work requires analytical, communication, and organizational skills generally acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program.

 

Experience

 

One year of experience in program administration or a related field involving academic, instructional, or counseling activities is required to acquire the skills necessary to plan, coordinate, and implement various program activities and events.OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
