Occupational Summary

The Collective for Psychiatric Neuroengineering (CPNE) at Duke University is seeking a full-time Staff Specialist to assist our lab with financial operations, including communicating with vendors, procurement of goods and services, and receipts and reimbursements.

 

Work Performed

  • Process order requests, follow up on ETAs, and communicate delays to the supervisor.
  • Submit expense reports, track reimbursements, and organize receipts.
  • Keep detailed records of requisition, purchase order, and confirmation codes and dates.
  • Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes and follow up on invoices.
  • Assist in booking travel arrangements for lab staff and visitors.
  • Submit financial reports to the supervisor upon request.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Education/Training

Work requires knowledge of basic mathematical, research and communications principles normally acquired through two years of postsecondary education.

A bachelor's degree in a field of study directly related to the specific position may be substituted for the education and two years of the experience requirement.
