Primary Role:

The Senior Consultant of Enterprise is responsible for overseeing and managing the enterprise analytics franchise model. This role involves leading the development and implementation of analytics strategies, ensuring data governance, and driving the standard adoption of analytics tools and methodologies across the health system. The Senior Consultant will play a crucial role in aligning analytics initiatives with business objectives and fostering a data-driven culture within the organization.

Reports directly to the Chief Analytics Officer

Key Responsibilities:

•    Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive analytics strategy that supports the organization's goals and objectives. Provide strategic direction and leadership to the analytics team.
•    Consultative and Collaborative relationships: Develop relationships with clinical, business. and functional leaders to identify and scope strategic opportunities that foster value creation potential.
•    Operational Excellence: Provide analytics support to drive operational excellence and enhance efficiency across the organization.
•    Strategic Partnership: Partner with the strategy office to create and align strategic priorities, ensuring that analytics initiatives support the overall strategic direction of the organization.
•    Governance: Lead, establish, and maintain data governance and analytics governance frameworks to ensure data quality, integrity, and security. Oversee the development and maintenance of a central repository of definitions and dashboards.
•    Stakeholder Management: Lead the analytics franchise stakeholder governance group to ensure effective data ownership and clear dashboard definitions. Engage with service line and executive leadership to create standardized benchmarks and targets.
•    Analytics Adoption: Drive the adoption of analytics tools and methodologies within the organization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between analytics initiatives and business objectives.
•    Technology: Arrange and manage technology/product/solution demos with internal stakeholders and external clients/customers.
•    Innovation and Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in analytics. Identify innovative solutions to data and analytics challenges and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
•    Professional Development: Attract, mentor, and develop a diverse team of high performing service-oriented analytics and data science professionals, fostering an environment of innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.
•    Project Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams to successfully deliver special analytics projects applying agile principles and methodologies. Manage project timelines, resources, and dependencies to achieve project goals within scope, budget, and quality standards.

The successful Senior Consultant for Enterprise Analytics will:
•    Build trusted relationships and partner with senior management and become fully integrated into the leadership team across service lines and departments. Be perceived as a solid team player who has credibility, integrity and contributes broadly as a subject matter leader for analytics and data science.
•    Provide guidance and support for a high performing and sophisticated team. Enable a culture that energizes and is supportive of staff and offers career growth and development opportunities to aid in recruitment and retention.
•    Develop, implement, and enforce formalized practices and standards to support clinical and business intelligence across the healthsystem
•    Learn the data technology platforms currently in place and develop the future strategy to build upon and enhance the ecosystem in alignment with the priorities and goals of the health system

Education/training
•    Bachelor's degree in a related field, or four years of equivalent technical experience required
•    Advanced degree in data science, analytics, or a related field preferred.

Required Experience
•    Proven experience in a senior leadership role, with a focus on data and analytics.
•    Demonstrated understanding of analytics principles, including data governance, data warehousing, and analytics platforms.
•    Profiencey in business management principles such as Lean and/or Six Sigma.
•    Proficiency in data management concepts and technologies, including data warehousing, ETL processes, and analytics platforms.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable product features.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
•    Experience with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and agile project management tools 
•    Healthcare industry experience


Preferred Experience
•    Excellent problem solving and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to healthcare and research stakeholders.
•    Experience working with healthcare professionals and researchers to understand their healthcare and research objective
