What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the primary contact for students enrolled in or interested in I&E’s graduate and undergraduate certificates and other educational offerings.
- Provide personalized guidance and maintain strong relationships with certificate students, supporting their academic and professional development.
- Manage student recruitment, oversee the certificate application process, review applications, and make recommendations for admission.
- Advise students on certificate pathways, course selection, and program requirements based on individual interests and goals.
- Communicate regularly with students, faculty, and internal stakeholders through email updates, newsletters, and other correspondence.
- Promote I&E educational opportunities to current and prospective students.
- Administer program operations by managing student records and tracking progress toward certificate completion.
- Coordinate with the University Registrar on course creation, listings, and enrollment processes.
- Develop and analyze program data and reports to inform strategic decisions and improve program effectiveness.
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and assessment of educational programs and initiatives.
- Plan and execute events such as seminars, workshops, and special programs.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and external partners to enhance program visibility and impact.
- Represent Duke I&E at university and public engagements, supporting organization-wide priorities.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of three years of administrative or project management experience, preferably in program administration involving academic, instructional, or counseling activities.
Equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience may be considered.
