- $45,000 COMMITMENT BONUS is currently offered to pending graduates or new grads.

- Distributed in $7500 increments every six months for 36 months
- Note: Stipend recipients are not eligible for the new grad commitment bonus.
- A $48,000 bonus is available to SRNA students who commit to a 36-month tenure at Duke, effective as soon as education, certification, license, and credentialing/privileging requirements are met (typically starting 3 months post-graduation)

- SRNA Stipend Recipients receive a lump sum of $36,000 stipend during their senior year of CRNA school after signing the SRNA Commitment to work at Duke for 36 months
- After starting as a CRNA, an additional $12,000 bonus is paid in two $6,000 installments on the 6-month and 12-month work anniversaries.
- All FTE CRNAs working in a hospital setting are offered a $15,000 annual stipend, prorated and paid monthly based on FTE status, for each fiscal year (July 1 – June 30).
- $2500 annual CME allowance for 1.0 FTEs, prorated for those working less
- A $8,000 relocation budget is available for CRNAs who move 50 miles or more (NC residence to Duke facility)
Job Location – Various Duke Health locations, including Duke University Hospital, Duke Regional Hospital, Duke Raleigh Hospital, and Ambulatory Surgery Centers.
Opportunity Summary
The DUHS SRNA program offers current SRNAs attending an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia the opportunity to receive a stipend while in anesthesia school if they commit to work at Duke upon graduation and earning their CRNA certification. RN's currently enrolled as a SRNA must apply and be accepted into this program.
Minimum Qualifications to Apply
Education
BSN is required. Must be currently be enrolled in a MSN or DNP accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program with pending 2024 graduation.
License
Must have current RN licensure issued by the NCBON.
Certification
Must obtain CRNA certification upon graduation.
Experience
At least 2 years of critical care experience to be accepted into the program.
