Occupational Summary

 

Meet and greet research participants in absence of the research staff on duty. Sit on the front desk of the clinical research core. Check in and check out research participants.

Inventory management, ad hoc ordering, Pcard and fund code reconciliation at the request of and under guidance/approval from the business manager. Prepare for scheduling events and meetings as needed.

Assist with maintenance of efficiency in organizational operations –this includes items such as maintaining central supply inventory for research core, working with vendors, dealing with issues with space/equipment should they arise, alerting appropriate entities etc. Help with participant scheduling and room scheduling. Phlebotomist

 

Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Required Qualifications at this Level

Education/Training

 

Work requires knowledge of basic mathematical, research and communications principles normally acquired through two years of postsecondary education.

 

Experience

 

Work generally requires three years of clerical or research experience to acquire skills in administrative or project research responsibilities as well as accepted office organization, communications and research practices.

A bachelor's degree in a field of study directly related to the specific position may be substituted for the education and two years of the experience requirement.
