Research Scientist in the Cognitive Neuroscience of Motivation and Memory at Duke University
The Motivated Memory Laboratory in the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience and Department of Psychiatry (PI: R. Alison Adcock) at Duke University is seeking a full-time Cognitive Neuroscience Researcher to join the team and to lead research on an NIH-funded project.
The project aims to uncover the neural mechanisms of motivation and its regulation using fMRI neurofeedback and advanced statistical modeling. The research scientist will lead this effort. The position will have ample support for professional development in computational psychiatry.
Candidates must have a PhD in Psychology, Neurobiology, Neuroscience, or a related field by the position start date. Experience with fMRI and proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, MATLAB, R, Julia, and/or bash) are required; Python experience will be advantageous. Start dates as soon as available.
