Join an innovative academic research program focused on olfactory neuroscience. As a Research Scientist, you will provide scientific and operational leadership for a laboratory conducting both wet-lab and computational research. You will partner closely with the Principal Investigator to develop new research directions, lead experiments, analyze complex data, and contribute to publications, grant applications, and scientific presentations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • PhD in a biological science or related field
  • Demonstrated experience in experimental biology and scientific research
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting complex research data
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience contributing to scientific manuscripts, grants, and presentations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completed postdoctoral training
  • Expertise in computational approaches and data integration
  • Experience supervising or mentoring research staff, students, or trainees
  • Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary research projects
  • Strong scientific writing and communication skills

Other Requirements:

  • Knowledge of laboratory safety and compliance requirements
  • Ability to manage laboratory equipment, reagents, and protocols
  • Commitment to rigorous and reproducible research practices
