The Duke University Department of Medicine is seeking a Research Scientist to join Dr. David Tuveson’s research team. You will contribute to mechanistic cancer biology and experimental model development in collaboration with Department of Medicine and Duke Cancer Institute investigators.
Minimum Requirements:
• A doctorate or equivalent professional attainment.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in molecular or cellular biology and bench-based cancer research.
· Experience in experimental optimization, troubleshooting, and data interpretation.
· Experience in scientific writing and presentation of research findings.
Other Requirements:
· Work is performed onsite in the research laboratory. Follow applicable laboratory safety, research integrity, and institutional requirements; maintain accurate research records.

• Perform bench-based mechanistic studies in cancer biology under PI direction.
• Maintain experimental systems, generate data, and support collaborative research projects.
• Assist with protocol development, troubleshooting, and experimental optimization.
