Summary
The NC-PAL Research Analyst II will perform a variety of complex and independent activities involved in planning, organizing, and conducting the NC-PAL (North Carolina Psychiatry Access Line) program. The NC-PAL Research Analyst II will work closely with the NC-PAL PIs, Directors, Data and Evaluation Team, and program leaders to ensure a robust data infrastructure for program reporting, implementation evaluation, and sustainability.

Data Management | 50% |
- Support the collection, organization, and management of data related to NC-PAL activities. | |
- Collaborate with and support NC-PAL team members in ensuring data collection is complete, timely, and valid. | |
- Support the ongoing maintenance of data management systems, including REDCap. | |
- Utilize various data systems (e.g., electronic health record, Qualtrics, REDCap, Excel) to support data collection. | |
- Investigate, apply, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. | |
Reporting | 25% |
- Analyze and summarize data related to NC-PAL activities. | |
- Prepare oral presentations or written reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends, and appropriate recommendations or conclusions. | |
- Confer with data and program leads to discuss the interpretation of results. | |
- Support preparation and completion of data reporting for funding agencies. | |
Data Protocols | 15% |
- Provide support for planning and developing data and evaluation protocols for NC-PAL. | |
- Confer with data and program leads in developing plans for research projects. | |
- Develop forms and questionnaires and coordinate the application of research techniques. | |
- Support the development of data management systems, including REDCap. | |
- Advise on the development of evaluation plans to monitor program effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative techniques. | |
- Design data visualization in the form of maps, graphics, and figures. | |
Professional Development | 5% |
- Participate in continuous quality improvement efforts, regular supervisory conferences, and other professional development efforts identified in conjunction with supervisors. | |

- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein. |
Minimum Education/Training Requirements

Work requires a bachelor's degree in psychology, public health, or a related field.
Job Skill Requirements

Work requires two years of experience in research/data analysis or a related position, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
