Education
Work requires gradua tion from an accredited BSN program.Exception: Registered nurses hired b etween July 1, 2014 and April 11,2021 without a Bachelor's degree in Nur sing (or higher)are encouragedto enroll in an appropriate BSN program w ithin two years of their startdate but must complete the program within five years of their startdate. Registered nurses hired before July 1, 20 14 are not required toenroll in a BSN program to remain in this job clas sification.
Experience
Twelve months of appropriate c linical experience is required. At amanager's discretion, employees wit h 6 months of experience who areexceptional performers may be eligible f or this level.CNIs are eligible for promotion to CN II by meeting crite ria set forthby the DUHS Vizient Nurse Residency Program within 12 month s of hire.Promotions can occur at 12 months of hire, but no later than 1 8 monthsof hire.
Experience
Twelve months of appropri ate clinical experience is required.
Degrees, Licensures, Certifi cations
Must have current or compact RN licensure in the state of NorthCarolina. BLS required. Specialty areas may require additionalcert ifications (suchas Wound Ostomy, Diabetes).
