Education
Work requires gradua tion from an accredited BSN program.Exception: Registered nurses hired b etweenJuly 1, 2014 and April 11,2021 without a Bachelor's degree in Nur sing (or higher) are encouragedto enroll in an appropriate BSN program w ithin two years of their startdate but must complete the program within seven years of their startdate. Registered nurses hired before July 1, 2 014 are not required toenroll in a BSN program to remain in this job cla ssification.
Experience
Twelve months of appropriate clinical experience is required. At amanager's discretion, employees wi th 6 months of experience whoareexceptional performers may be eligible for this level.CN Is are eligible for promotion to CN II by meeting crit eria set forthby the DUHS Vizient Nurse Residency Program within 12 mont hs of hire.Promotions can occur at 12 months of hire, but no laterthan 18 monthsof hire.
Experience

Must have current or compact RN licensure in the state o f NorthCarolina. BLS required.
