E ducation

Work requires graduation from an accredited BSN program. Exception: Registered nurses hired between July 1, 2014 and April 11,202 1 withouta Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or higher) are encouragedto en roll in an appropriate BSN program within two years of their startdate b ut must complete the program within seven years of their startdate. Regi stered nurses hired before July 1, 2014 are not required toenroll in a B SN program to remain in this job classification.


Experience< /h2>

Twelve months of appropriate clinical experience is required. At amanager's discretion, employees with 6 months of experience who areexc eptional performers may be eligible for this level.CN Is are eligible fo r promotion to CN II by meeting criteria set forthby the DUHS Vizient Nu rse Residency Program within 12 months of hire.Promotions can occur at 1 2 months of hire, but no later than 18 monthsof hire.

Must have current or compact RN licensur e in the state of NorthCarolina. BLS required.
