Occupational Summary
The social worker will support the North Carolina - Psychiatry Access Line (NC-PAL) through behavioral health consultation and education activities, coordination, outreach, and program development. The NC-PAL social worker will interface directly with clinicians and/or support services staff within Duke Health and in the community, with the goals of: empowering clinicians to manage behavioral health in their practices, addressing systemic barriers to mental health, and supporting patient ability to navigate behavioral health resources. Individuals in this role may also participate in direct patient care (ex. psychosocial assessments, diagnosis, and treatment).

Education/Training
Work requires a Master's degree from an accredited school of social work.
Current licensure as a licensed clinical social worker by the NC Social Work and Certification and Licensure Board.
Experience
Three or more years of social work experience in a health care setting or social service agency with one of three years may be social work internship. Two years recent post master's experience in a clinical setting preferred

Anticipated Pay Range
The annual base salary range for this position is $58,656.00 to $82,000.00 USD.
Salary offers are based on a variety of factors, including (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s experience, education, and key skills, internal equity, and market and organizational considerations.

Education
A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited school of social work is required.
Experience
