JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Provider Support Assistant to be responsible for administrative and clerical duties of a complex and confidential nature in support of the Division of Cardiology.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide clerical/administrative support for multiple cardiologists.

Answer and route phone calls, serve as a resource person, interview callers; answer questions concerning departmental or divisional activities to the appropriate place. Screen and route mail and documents; determine which to respond to or which to bring to supervisor’s attention based on content of the communication.

Schedule and coordinate arrangements for seminars and conferences and establish appointments, meetings and speaking engagements for physicians.

Update and maintain QGenda schedules for each provider.

EPIC: maintain clinic schedules, process cancellations and schedule change requests as needed.

Process all reimbursements incurred during trips or business meetings.

Prepare reports, proposals and correspondence for physicians.

Yearly update CV, bio sketch, DEA and medical license.

Maintain and provide provider with CME credits.

Organize and maintain physician and office files.
JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent education required.
- One-year experience of clerical or general office support required.
JOB HOURS
The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
