As Program Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of this mission — managing signature initiatives, cultivating alumni relationships, and driving innovative programming that connects students with real-world opportunities.
What You’ll Do:
Alumni & Corporate Engagement
- Coordinate alumni-student programs like the mentor and mock interview initiatives.
- Partner with Duke Development and campus offices to identify and cultivate alumni for the DFE Steering Committee.
- Track alumni engagement and provide strategic insights to optimize involvement.
- Create newsletters and engagement summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
- Propose improvements to existing programs and identify new engagement opportunities.
Dzialga Women in Finance Initiative
- Manage the annual application process and student communications.
- Coordinate monthly speaker events, meetings, and group activities.
- Plan and attend a two-day NYC trip for students and staff, including all logistics.
- Facilitate alumni networking and mentoring for Dzialga Fellows.
- Maintain records on student internship activities and program participation.
Steering Committee & Sub-Committee Coordination
- Organize biannual Steering Committee meetings and sub-committee calls.
- Collaborate with Development staff on event logistics and communications.
- Prepare engagement reports and presentation materials.
- Brief guest speakers and manage meeting follow-up.
- Use committee feedback to enhance member experience and program impact.

Anticipated Pay Range:
Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position of USD $44,766.00 to USD $71,706.00. Final offers consider factors such as — but not limited to — the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate’s experience, education, and key skills, internal equity, and market and organizational considerations.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Work requires analytical, communications, and organizational skills generally acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree program.
Experience:
At least one year of experience is required (3–5 years preferred) in program administration or in roles involving academic, instructional, or counseling activities. Two years of experience with alumni engagement programs is also preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate concurrent programs and events and effectively track and organize information.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a wide range of organizational partners.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with strong experience in Excel.
