JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Program Coordinator to plan, coordinate and administer activities within assigned program areas; develop, coordinate and advise on policy related to assigned major programs.

 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Program development and Management: Overseeing MCH programs including obstetric and pediatric programs; coordinator both Centering Parenting and Pregnancy; coordinator MCH incentive program for Centering Parenting and ALSO course every 3 years; facilitate weekly/monthly MCH meetings and recording accurate meeting minutes.
  • Community Outreach: Engage with the community to promote MCH services, address health disparities, and provide resources for expecting mothers; coordinate recruitment and outreach efforts for the team; engage with community, maintaining relationships with established community partners, and cultivating new community connections.
  • Patient care coordinator: Facilitate patient pathways, ensuring smooth transitions between different stages of care from prenatal to postnatal.
  • Budgeting and Resource management: Assist in budget preparation and resource allocation to ensure the program operates efficiently.
  • Policy and Protocol Development: Establishing and updating clinical protocols in conjunction with clinical staff.

 

JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Work requires analytical, communications and organizational skills generally acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree program.
  • Work requires three years of experience in program administration or involving academic, instructional or counseling activities to acquire skills necessary to plan, coordinate and implement a variety of program activities and events.

  • OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE.

 

JOB HOURS

The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
