The Di Talia lab at Duke University School of Medicine seeks a highly motivated postdoctoral research fellow for a fully funded position in our lab.

Minimum Requirements: 

• PhD in a Cell Biology, Molecular Biology or a related field

This position is onsite.

• The work is performed on-site or at a designated assignment location.

• You will be responsible for the intellectual development of a research project under guidance from Dr. Di Talia. Current topics of interest for the lab include early embryogenesis in insects, adult appendage regeneration, and notochord segmentation in zebrafish. 

• You will lead the execution of the experimental plan, work on the design of the data analysis methods, and perform the appropriate computational analyses. 

• You will perform literature searches and use them to refine your project as you obtain new results

• You will apply for appropriate grant funding with an initial focus on postdoctoral fellowships

• You will draft manuscripts describing your findings and work closely with Dr. Di Talia and collaborators during the manuscript preparation stage and during the revision process
