Postdoctoral Associate – Dr. Allan Kirk (Abdominal Transplant)

The Department of Surgery is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Postdoctoral Associate to join our team. The role independently study cell and cell populations in transplant allograft in response to alloimmunity and/or immune tolerance as well as work with mouse, monkey, and Juman samples for molecular analysis.
Minimum Requirements:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate (e.g. M.B.B.S., Sc.D., D.V.M.)
This position is Onsite. The work is performed on-site or at a designated assigned location.

- Work with animal models involving organ transplantation.
- Manuscript preparation and scientific presentations at national and/or international meetings.
- Maintain accurate laboratory documentation of experiments, including raw experimental data and laboratory notebooks.
- Adhere to University standards regarding use of isotopes, chemicals, infectious agents, animals, human subjects, and the like.
