The Tumor Immunology and Immunotherapeutics Laboratory is looking for a Postdoctoral Associate with excellent communication skills to serve as a member of an interactive team. The lab’s research involves the investigation of immune regulation in cancer and strategies to modulate innate and adaptive immunity against tumors. The major translational focus of the Hartman laboratory is uncovering strategies to modulate tumor-derived inflammation and stimulate tumor-specific immunity that will translate into clinically efficacious therapies in patients.
Minimum Requirements:
- Requires a doctoral degree in biological sciences or a related field.

- This position is onsite. The work is performed on-site or at a designated assigned location.

Position Description:
- Investigate immune regulation in cancer and strategies to modulate innate and adaptive immunity against tumors.
- Uncover strategies to modulate tumor-derived inflammation and stimulate tumor-specific immunity that will translate into clinically efficacious therapies in patients.
- Maintain accurate laboratory documentation of experiments, including raw experimental data and laboratory notebooks.
- Monitor progress of research projects and coordinate with Principal Investigator and Program team to stay on budget and schedule to meet the milestones and deliverables.
- Follow standards of responsible conduct in research.
- Adhere to University standards regarding use of isotopes, chemicals, infectious agents, animals, human subjects, and the like.
