Postdoctoral Associate in the Varghese Lab
Occupational Summary
Conduct under the guidance of a faculty mentor, Shyni Varghese, PhD, in preparation for a full time academic or research career. The job includes fabrication and characterization of joint-on-chip device and lubricant formulations. The candidate is expected to have knowledge about joint lubricant, chemical synthesis, joint- on-chip device and joint pathophysiology. The candidate will work with graduate students and help them with their experiments. This position is funded by NIH.
Work Performed
The Postdoctoral Appointee holds a PhD or equivalent doctorate (e.g. ScD, MD, DVM). Candidates with non-US degrees may be required to provide proof of degree equivalency.
