Completion of a Leve l I - Nurse Aide education program approved by theNorth Carolina Boardo f Nursing or successful completion of the NC -approved Nurse Aide I comp etency test.High School diploma or equivalent required.

Curr ently listed as a Nursing Assistant I (NA I) with the Division ofFacilit y Services with no substantiated findings of abuse, fraud,neglect or mis appropriation of property.BCLS certification must be maintained/complete d by the end of new hireorientation, which typically takes place during the first week ofemployment.
