Working Title: OPSD-Duke PRIME PUMP Student Assistant
(Internship duration: June 1 - July 26, 2026)
Primary responsibilities of the OPSD-Duke PRIME PUMP Student Assistant areas follows:
- Participate in a laboratory research project under the mentorship of Duke Faculty and lab team
- Attend structured professional development and networking sessions in research methodology, and career development
- Participate in clinical activities related to the faculty mentor’s area of research
- Collaborate with faculty, staff and medical students
- Deliver a presentation about the research experience
Please note these additional requirements:
- Available to start on campus June 1st
- Commit to full-time (40 hours/week) research for a duration eight weeks
- Provide names/contact information of two references
- Required submission of Curriculum Vitae and Undergraduate transcript
- Clinical shadowing vaccine requirements: TB, MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Flu
