Based on the intern’s interest, background, and the assi gnment duration,one or a combination of the projects below will be assig ned.  Note that no agents/materials will be usedfor these p rojects.

1.      Automation / EquipmentTroubleshooting Project: Development of a Micro cell Fault Log - simulating andcompiling faults experienced when running the Microcell and how toovercome/clear the fault

2.      GMP Tech TransferMaterials P roject: Creating BOMs / Picklists in InstantGMP software to aidewith mat erial kitting and real time inventory consumption; Cataloging ofMachine Drawings - including creation of excel tracker to note MAT #, drawing#, current revision, date last approved, unit ops used for,platform design edfor (i.e. mRNA vs. protein), and hyperlink to electronic copy of drawi ng;Create tracker to see what current inventory is allocated to which pr ogram,optimize use of extras/leftovers from past programs for new progra ms

3.      Fer menter/BioreactorCharacterization Project: kLA Study Data Collection and analysis; XcellerexBioreactor - simulating and compiling alarms we may experience during reactorrun. Clearing existing alarms or source of exis ting alarms and how to make theminactive.

4.      Validation ExperienceProject: Create Master Validation Protocol template for Fridges, Freezers andULT

5.      Become an Ex pert on aSterilizing Autoclave Project:

-Implementing expiries for autoclaved materials

-RNAse degradation study at autoclave conditions

-Qualify load for conn ections capable of multipleconnects/disconnects (support moving towards fully closed flow paths)

-Learn how to use the Kaye V alidator and apply it toqualification activities

6.      MPR Template Improvements:col late redlines from most recent runs, make records more modular, improvef ormatting, calculation improvements, improve inclusion of process ranges
