JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Medical Secretary to perform secretarial duties in support of general medical office activities to relieve medical professional personnel of clerical and administrative details and to maintain an efficient and effective operation.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage clinician outlook, meeting, and clinical schedule.
- Manage patient communications from various platforms.
- Manage Surgical Schedule, coordinating with patient and surgical site and all required prior appointments and clearances, including post operative scheduling, treatment, therapy, and follow ups.
- Manage physician faculty status and information
JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Work requires a general educational background normally equivalent to a high school education.

Work requires two years of related medical clerical experience sufficient to acquire skills in transcribing medical terminology, office organization and communications.

A completed medical secretarial program (nine months up to two years accredited program) may be substituted for equivalent experience.

Ability to deal with patient questions, concerns in a courteous, competent, and expeditious manner.

Follow through on details of surgeries, appointments, and patient concerns or questions.

Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, and ICD-10 codes is preferred.
JOB HOURS
The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
