Duke Health Integrated Practice comprises more than 110 primary and specialty outpatient clinics, extending the reach of Duke Health's mission across the state of North Carolina.

JOB SUMMARY

This position will support the Department of Psychiatry Finance team in its mission to deliver accurate and informed reports to our leadership team, faculty and clinical liaisons. The role will collect, analyze and prepare reports on key metrics related to faculty clinical benchmarks, financial trends and other data points as needed. This role will have regular interactions with department leadership, faculty and staff. Looking for someone who is eager to ask questions, dig a little deeper into the data and provide a unique perspective on their analysis.

 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collect, interpret and summarize financial data through various systems and maintain monthly reports 
  • Collect and maintain faculty specific data (wRVUs, FTEs, Template Utilization and Visits) for analysis and validation
  • Assist in preparing annual faculty compensation plans and tracking compensation plan changes
  • Support the development of spring projections, annual budget projections, monthly variance to budget reporting and year-end financial variance analysis
  • Prepare and coordinate the distribution of various financial reports and analyses for senior management
  • Independently perform complex and specialized assignments, as well as collaborate with the team to meet group shared targets
  • Assist in development and monitoring of clinical services agreements including monthly invoice payments'
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein

 

JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Work requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field. CPA is desirable.
  • Work requires four years experience in financial management, cost accounting or a field directly related to specialized area of assignment.
