Children’s Health Center – Pediatric Specialty Clinics
Duke University Hospital | Durham, NC
• No nights, weekends, or holidays
• Pediatric specialty exposure in an outpatient setting
• Strong interdisciplinary teamwork and provider collaboration
• Opportunities for professional growth and clinical advancement
• Supportive leadership and team culture
• Pediatric nursing experience preferred
• IV and/or procedural experience preferred
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a high-volume clinic setting
• Perform assessments, develop and implement nursing care plans, and provide patient and family education
• Administer medications and assist with procedures as appropriate
• Coordinate care with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Delegate and collaborate with licensed and unlicensed staff
• Serve as a preceptor and support the development of new staff and learners
• Participate in quality improvement, safety, and performance initiatives
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with Duke policies and the North Carolina Board of Nursing
• Typical hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Average of 36 hours per week
