Title: Director of Player Development, Baseball
Position Summary:
This position will oversee development for the Duke Baseball Team. Additionally, this position will coordinate all efforts with sports performance coaches, sport nutrition and athletic medicine staff.
This is a part time paid position and is not benefits eligible
Qualifications
· Experience utilizing multiple platforms to analyze all aspects of the game. Preferable experience with Tru Media and Synergy Platform and other similar platforms.
· Attention to detail with a specific focus on statistics, visual statistics, play by play video and how to utilize this information to build growth for players.
· Foster a working environment to provide successful communication and collaboration amongst the athletic performance support groups.
Knowledge, Skills, Ability:
· Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to develop knowledge of, respect for, and skills to engage young women.
· Effective written and verbal communication
· Knowledge of NCAA rules
· Strong organizational and problem solving skills needed
· The scope of this position requires weekend, evening and possible holiday hours
· Thrive in fast paced environment, possess a keen attention to details, and ability to multi-task
Education
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
· 1 year experience utilizing analytical material for baseball players

Anticipated Pay Range:
Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $ 18.55 to USD $35.00 Duke University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position; candidate's work experience, education/training, and keyskills; internal peer equity; as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.

Education
