Fuqua’s Global Marketing group is a centralized function responsible for understanding the school’s customers and markets; generating program revenue through campaigns; stewarding and building the brand via owned, earned, paid and shared media; promoting program and faculty thought leadership; and leading strategic school initiatives. This unit is known for agility in responding to the fundamental changes in customer behavior, channels and tactics emerging within each of the markets we serve. We focus on allocating limited resources as effectively as possible, measuring overall ROI and engagement metrics within different channels and media sources to hold ourselves accountable for improving performance in different dimensions of our work.

Job Description
Fuqua seeks a Director of Brand Marketing (level 16) to lead marketing initiatives in support of school priorities, crafting and activating the school’s brand to drive enrollment, engagement, and reputation. Reporting to the Associate Dean for Global Marketing, this position leads a three-person marketing communications unit to execute integrated campaigns, align brand strategy with business goals, and manage content development and production.
Key Responsibilities
Integrated Marketing
- Develop and implement data-driven campaigns to drive inquiries, applications, and enrollments
- Oversee creation of compelling content, digital experiences, and targeted paid media
- Implement nurture campaigns and conversion rate optimization tactics
- Partner on SEO and SEM initiatives
- Engage brand ambassadors and leverage in marketing efforts
- Allocate spending across various campaigns, manage against allocated budget
- Prepare budget reports for the Associate Dean, identifying and explaining any variances
Content Development
- Lead conceptualization, design, and production of marketing material
- Develop multi-media and multi-platform content strategy
- Oversee the execution of institutional and brand collateral
- Implement asset management systems and workflows
Brand Management
- Oversee Fuqua brand identity system
- Ensure consistent brand identity across all touchpoints
- Develop and disseminate comprehensive brand guidelines
- Manage review and approval processes for branded materials
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with external vendors and service providers
- Implement cost-saving measures without compromising marketing effectiveness
Team Leadership and Strategic Management
- Collaborate with the Associate Dean to align marketing initiatives with school objectives and prioritize spending based on ROI projections and strategic importance
- Lead and mentor Brand Marketing team (Marketing Communications Manager, Media Copywriter, Production Coordinator)
- Serve on Global Marketing Leadership Team
- Manage production function and its financial operations
- Steward relationships with functional and program leadership
Qualifications and Experience:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7+ years of marketing, brand management, digital/social or related experience
- Demonstrated ability to create compelling marketing content
- Experience managing marketing communications projects
- Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Preferred
- MBA or advanced degree in a relevant discipline
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in higher education or professional services marketing
- Understanding of Slate, Drupal, SEMrush, Google Data Studio, Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Competence in digital, print, and video production processes
Key Performance Indicators:
- Annual ROI growth from marketing spend
- Content engagement metrics (views, downloads, opens)
- Adherence to brand guidelines across departments (via audit)
