Occupational Summary

Everything Happens, a center within Duke Divinity School, seeks to hire an experienced digital marketer to develop, implement, and manage marketing campaigns promoting the organization's resources, events, books, podcasts, and social content. The ideal candidate will enhance brand awareness, drive web traffic, and acquire new leads. This position is grant funded for two years with the possibility for renewal upon review of funding.

 

Work Performed

  • Develop strategic advertising campaigns and marketing strategies that align with Everything Happens’ goals

  • Manage and execute campaigns across various channels, including print, digital, social, podcast, email and web to support the release of new products, events, and resources

  • Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new opportunities and improve campaign performance

  • Identifying untapped target audiences to spread brand awareness about Everything Happens and Kate Bowler

  • Project manage campaign from creative idea to data analysis, measuring and reporting on SEO, conversion rates, and return on investment

  • Develop email marketing funnels to increase listserv leads

  • Collaborate with the creative, web development, and production teams within Everything Happens to produce and deliver effective, engaging content and campaigns

  • Monitor project timelines and budgets

  • Facilitate consistent brand management on a wide scale

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging digital marketing trends and technologies

Required Qualifications at this Level

Education/Training

Work requires communications, analytical and organizational skills generally acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree program.

Experience

Work requires one year experience in marketing, advertising, media, promotions, graphic arts, public relations, sales, or other related background to acquire skills necessary to plan, develop and implement marketing strategies in one or more specialty areas OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
