CLINICAL RESEARCH SPECIALIST, SR – Psychiatry – BEHAVIORAL MEDICINE AND NEUROSCIENCES DIVISION –DORAISWAMY LAB

This position will work in a research group focused on neurocognitive disorders and brain health. The ideal candidate will have prior experience or knowledge of cognitive tests, qualitative and quantitative mental health assessments, and Alzheimer's and MCI research. Familiarity with IRB and grant related good clinical practices, consenting with vulnerable populations, familiarity with medical terminology, electronic health records, real world data, and human behavior is preferred. Candidate should have a minimum overall GPA of 3.80, undergraduate advanced coursework in neuroscience, basic knowledge of R to create figures for manuscripts under PI's supervision, and experience in scientific literature search and publication.

- Phone screen interested participants and coordinate scheduling of appointments
- Consent participants for minimal risk studies
- Administer simple memory tests under supervision and compute scores for cognitive tests
- Data entry and quality assurance

One year of relevant experience. Completion of the DOCR North Carolina state approved Clinical Research Pre Apprenticeship program may substitute for one year of required experience.

Anticipated Pay Range: Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $20.76 to USD $31.44.
