Duke Orthopaedics is seeking a Clinical Research Specialist, Senior, to join our growing clinical research team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to build and expand their clinical research expertise while supporting innovative studies that directly impact patient care. In this role, you will collaborate with leading physicians, research participants, sponsors, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and support a diverse portfolio of industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated clinical research studies. You'll play a key role in advancing new treatments, technologies, and evidence-based practices that improve outcomes for orthopaedic patients.

- Onsite. Occasional travel between orthopaedic divisions and clinical locations may be required.

Recruit, consent, enroll, and follow research participants throughout the study lifecycle, serving as a primary point of contact and helping to ensure a positive participant experience.
Coordinate study visits and research procedures, including scheduling appointments, collecting study-related data, completing study assessments, and maintaining accurate source documentation.
Collect, enter, review, and maintain clinical research data in electronic data capture systems and study databases, ensuring data quality, completeness, and compliance with sponsor and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with investigators, sponsors, clinical staff, and research support offices to facilitate study startup, enrollment, data collection, study closeout activities, and achievement of project milestones.

Anticipated Pay Range: Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $23.00 to USD $34.50.
