The Duke School of Nursing is looking for a part-time Clinical Research Specialist, Senior to join our dynamic research team. In this role, you’ll contribute to impactful NIH-funded research focused on chronic disease management and health promotion. You’ll be on the front lines of data collection—conducting surveys, qualitative interviews, and managing study documentation using REDCap and Duke systems. Your work will directly support scientific publications and presentations that influence healthcare outcomes.

This position is 100% grant funded.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate’s degree required.
- One year of relevant experience (a Bachelor’s degree may substitute for experience).
- Fluent in Spanish and English (speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension).
- Experience with computing software and web-based applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, REDCap).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in research study coordination.
- Familiarity with Duke systems and clinical research processes.

- Document study activities in REDCap and Duke clinical systems.
- Assist with manuscript and presentation preparation for scientific dissemination.
- Support IRB submissions and maintain study documentation.
- Collaborate with investigators and research staff to ensure protocol compliance and data quality.

Anticipated Pay Range:
Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $20.76 to USD $31.44. Duke University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position; candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills; internal peer equity; as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
