What You'll Do
- Coordinate and manage pulmonary and critical care clinical research studies.
- Recruit, screen, consent, enroll, and retain research participants.
- Schedule and conduct study visits while ensuring protocol compliance.
- Collect, enter, review, and maintain research data and study documentation.
- Process, track, and maintain human biospecimens and laboratory records.
- Prepare and submit IRB applications, amendments, and regulatory documents.
- Support sponsor communications, monitoring visits, audits, and study closeout activities.
- Utilize systems such as OnCore, REDCap, and Epic/Maestro Care to manage study activities.
- Collaborate with investigators and research teams to support grants, presentations, and publications.
- Ensure compliance with GCP, FDA regulations, institutional policies, and human subject protections.
What We're Looking For
- Experience coordinating clinical research studies.
- Experience with IRB submissions, regulatory compliance, and sponsor communications.
- Experience processing human biospecimens and maintaining laboratory documentation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), FDA regulations, and human subject protections.
- Experience with OnCore, REDCap, Epic/Maestro Care, and electronic data capture systems.
- Ability to manage multiple studies and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Anticipated Pay Range: Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $61,026.00 to USD $101,959.00.
