Description of Clinical Responsibilities:
Recruitment and enrollment of iMIND Study participants via email and telephone. Measurement of corrected distance visual acuity, administration of the Mini Mental State Examination, and image acquisition using the Zeiss Cirrus machine and Optos California camera. Data management using REDCap software, image management using Box and desktop server. Regulatory work related to the study.
Type of Research: This in-person, on-site full-time position will be part of the iMIND Study Group and the hire will work with two investigators on one prospective longitudinal clinical research study. This clinical research study takes place at 932 Morreene Road in Durham which houses many Duke Neurology Clinics including the memory disorders clinics. iMIND Study is part of the Ophthalmology CRU.
Special skills: Ophthalmology knowledge is required. Prior photography and/or imaging experience, IRB experience, and data management strongly preferred. Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint skills may be helpful.
Aniticipated Pay Range:
Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $58,656.00 to USD $98,000.00. Experience
Work requires a minimum of two years of relevant research experience. A Bachelor's degree may substitutefor 2 years required experience.
