Working Title: Assistant General Manager, Duke Football
Position Summary
Duke University is seeking a qualified candidate for the Assistant General Manager, Football position. This position will manage the recruiting staff and recruiting department for the Duke Football Program. The position is directly responsible for evaluating player talent, day to day recruiting operations, official and unofficial visit calendars and events and prospect management. Additionally, this person will be responsible for obtaining all required academic documentation for prospective student-athletes and will work with athletic administration to ensure a smooth and timely application process.

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree required
· At least 2-3 years of experience of football operations and recruiting, preferably at the FBS Level
· A commitment to knowing and complying with NCAA, ACC, and institutional rules
Knowledge, Skills, Ability
· Excellent written and oral skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office
· Ability to learn quickly and communicate effectively
· Excellent organizational ability and attention to detail
· Ability to manage time well and prioritize tasks
Essential Functions:
· Oversee all aspects of recruiting for the football program
· Serve as a contact with the Athletic Compliance department with regards to NCAA rules, regulations, changes and education
· Assist in managing overall recruiting database for the football program
· Maintaining recruiting software, monitor the various recruiting services and analyze national recruiting trends for each position area
· Oversee all on and off campus recruiting staff and events
· Prepare recruiting materials for coaching staff and team
· Assist with camps & clinics
· Ensure compliance with both national and university policies
· Other duties as assigned
