Private Team Investment Analyst

What You'll Do
- Assist in identifying, evaluating, selecting, and monitoring investment opportunities across private market asset classes.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses to assess investment opportunities, risks, and portfolio performance.
- Support portfolio construction, asset allocation, and investment strategy analysis.
- Help develop, maintain, and enhance investment databases, AI-enabled tools, and systems that support investment decision-making.
- Support the Chief Investment Officer and investment team members with presentations and strategic investment materials.
- Prepare investment memoranda, reports, and recommendations for internal decision-making.
- Conduct independent research on portfolio management topics, emerging investment trends, and new investment opportunities.
- Participate in due diligence activities, investment execution processes, and ongoing portfolio monitoring.
- Collaborate with team members to evaluate investment managers, funds, co-investments, secondaries, and direct investment opportunities.
- Contribute to a culture of intellectual curiosity, rigorous analysis, and thoughtful decision-making.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university completed or expected in 2027.
- Outstanding academic achievement.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and research capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with quantitative and analytical tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Anticipated Pay Range: Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $108,000.
