Athletics Department Assistant
Position Summary:
Duke University Athletics Association is seeking a qualified candidate for the Athletics Department Assistant position. This is a part time position (benefits ineligible) and this person will report to the Senior Associate Director of Athletics.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Knowledge, Skills, Ability:
· Excellent written and oral skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
· Ability to learn quickly and communicate effectively
· Excellent organizational ability and attention to detail
· Ability to manage time well and prioritize tasks
Essential Functions:
· Support the executive team in external and internal committees preparation, projects and speaking engagements
· Provide documentation for expense reports(procurement card clearing/reimbursements/check requests) for executive senior staff as assigned
· Provide assistance with scheduling for the executive team
· Help with daily operations in Administrative Office Suite (Answering main phone line, mail distribution, etc.)
· Will assist members of the Athletics Executive team with direction from the Senior Associate Director of Athletics
Anticipated Pay Range:
Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $18.00.
