We are seeking a temporary Admin Intern to help develop new course content for one of our core courses, Biostatistics and Epidemiology for Global Health Science, Lab. This position reports to the course lab instructor.
The position is hybrid, with much of the work being performed remotely; however, some time will need to be spent on-site at Duke in Durham, NC. The position will be part-time with an expectation for approximately 20 hours per week for 12 weeks (June-August, 2025).
Scope of Work
- Review existing course documents, including syllabi, lab assignments, data sets, and data documentation.
- Write new, and edit existing, R programming code to supplement the lab assignments.
- Revise existing course documents, including syllabi and lab assignments
- Meet with the instructor at least weekly to review progress.
