The Admin Intern will serve as an AE+ Project Manager (PM) to oversee 4 teams of students participating in the Applied Ethics+ program during Summer 2024.  The PM will guide project progress and mentor students working on life science and technology projects hosted by various NGOs and for-profit organizations.

This will be a full-time position (40 hours/week) during the 10-week AE+ program plus an additional week before and after the program.

During the 10-week AE+ program, the PM will be expected to meet in person with their 4 assigned project teams weekly for a total of approximately 5 hours per team. • Project Management – while each student team will be primarily responsible for their own project management and overseen by the Program Manager, PMs will assist the Program Manager in the review of their assigned teams’ project management plans and progress. This assistance will help ensure that each team’s plan and progress are both realistic and faithfully pursued.
  • Program and Team Assessment – where appropriate, the P Ms will also coordinate and assist the Program Manager in the development, facilitation, and interpretation of assessments for each project team and the overall AE+ program.
  • Program Review – upon the end of the program, the PMs will be asked to assist in the overall review, reporting, and assessment of the AE+ program. This will also include their input on their own experience as subject matter experts for the project teams.

Prior to the AE+ Summer Program, the PM will conduct the following:
